I was wondering if anyone has an idea as to how much I could expect to get for all of the Harry Potter childrens books. They are ALL first editions, hardbacks but unsigned. If the price is right I am willing to sell them however I need to get an accurate price for insurance purposes.

The Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone book I have is the First Edition, First Impression. How do you work out whether its first/second state?

- I'm not that familiar with them myself, you could ask for a proper valuation (offered through this site), but there's a page here for reference listing some variations of different printing states of various Potter books -

& thread about valuations here -

This is one of those difficult ones, without having the book in your hand, and the true first first issue comparison. But as domino states, there are sites (with the books having such a cult following), which discuss these details.
