I picked up a 1997 delray first edition of TERRY BROOKS fantasy RUNNING WITH THE DEMON from a local charity shop, its very unusual looking though! The binding is tight though every 20 or so pages sticks out like you get on old pre-war hardbacks, there's also the first 20 pages have been bound upside down and inside out, only to be repeated again in the correct way, is this a rare item and would it have any value? i cant seem to find anyone else online who has this item.

Jamie,
As you are probably aware there are a lot of 1st editions available for around the £3-£5 mark. I am not aware of this authors collectability, but would doubt that your book whilst obviously unusual would go for much more, unless a fan wanted it for its quirkiness, you could possibly float it at say a tenner and see what happens.
Regards
Jim

If in fine condition this book can be obtained for £12 to £20, being more highly valued than the Orbit edition.
But we have had this type of conversation before. We have to state that it is a printers error, but if sold as such, stating that all other pages are correct, and it would make an individual conversation starter and reading copy.
Then starting with Jimbooks accurate appraisal, see how inventive you can be with your advertising ability to sell it for more.
As long as you do not deceive or misrepresent, you could "talk the talk", and ensure that no other items is described as such. State "Not Perfect" and e.g. in Need of a Good Loving Home, +(description), and e.g. only such copy at present available on the net. (Provided you are sure this is the case.
Obviously you may not sell it to any one viewing Rarelist, good luck, and sorry I missed this earlier.
