Book Description: England, 1799. Manuscript. Book Condition: Good+. 12mo - over 6?" - 7?" tall. On offer a handwritten recipe 'CURE FOR EPILEPSY'. Undated and unidentified author, written on typical rag paper of the late 1700's or early 1800's. The cursive style of writing is from about the same period. Written in ink. Quite legible. Measures approximately 5 " x 8 ". The cure includes much drinking of Valerium Tea and the frequency. This remedy is, to paraphrase the writer, so successful that the woman who gave her the recipe suffered from many hundreds of seizures found herself cured within a fortnight and free of attacks for two and a half years. Save for some light age-toning and this is in very good shape. Autograph. Bookseller Inventory # 000602
